WELCOME BACK
Hello guys! Ready for Grade 5? See you next week! Walsh
Something I really try to work on with the students is being patient when wanting to ask something when talking with someone else. I have no idea why people think it is okay to freely burst in on a conversation when it is absolutely clear my focus is directed to someone else. Are schools not teaching manners? Do parents accept this behaviour? All I know is that waiting is a very important skill. What’s more impressive is if a student can walk away, work it out for themselves and go through a process of being more independent and resourceful. I am sure people would not want to be interrupted my me! Thoughts?
